PASIC 2012: John Cage Focus Day

This November I participated in the PASIC Focus Day that was held in Austin, TX. I performed as part of a simultaneous realization of John Cage’s 27’10.554″ for a Percussionist that included six of us performing our own sections and versions from this work condensed into about a little over ten minutes or so. The performers included Brandon Bell, Andrew Burke, John Lane, Al Otte, Bonnie Whiting Smith, and myself.

For more information on the John Cage Focus Day, check out the PASIC 2012 Preview articles in the issue of Percussive Notes (Vol. 50, No. 5, September 2012).
