Balance-Unbalance 2015

I recently performed at the Balance-Unbalance International conference themed “Water, Climate, Place: Re-Imagining Environments.” It brought multiple disciplines together and the conference was filled with keynote speeches, workshops, concerts all focused on areas of nature, art, science, and new technologies in order to raise awareness for ecological and sustainability practices. I performed Matthew Burtner’s Glisten of Places on one of the evening concerts as well as took part in a field recording workshop. You can listen to a sample of one of the sounds I collected in which I performed on a yucca plant in the wild.
