World Premiere of Lunsqui’s “Materiali”

 

 

 

This May 1st 2013, Rob Esler and I gave the world premiere of Alexandre Lunsqui’s new duo for percussion entitled Materiali: Dentro do Dentro. The concert focused on “found and re-purposed objects” and included other pieces such as Mark Applebaum’s 30, Lou Harrison’s Violin Concerto, my very own Music for Botany, and UrbanSTEW’s modern-day digital version of the futurists’ Intonarumori.
